Hourraayy! It’s done, finished, terminé! and I am very happy with the result!

I started this granny stripes blanket when every body on the net was doing it but I left it beside doing some other crocheted things :)

Last week I decided to FINALLY finish it …

Enjoy the pics:

It is made with Stylecraft special DK yarns.

It measures : 148x120cm

Take a look to its border: do you love it?

(I’ll post next time its pattern;))

Once again, you have to excuse me posting the patterns in a graphic way because I have a french background and my English is a little bit poor :) (don’t tell anybody but I open translator when writing my posts :) )

The colors are very fresh for this blanket and I love them!

That’s all ! Hope you enjoyed!

Have a great sunshiny monday!

Kisses,

Sucrette

Good morning dear reader,

Yesterday I read something very cute on the net about having difficulties being monogamous and that made me smile because I was in the same situation…Yes, I have difficulties, myself, being monogamous and that is annoying me a little bit…

Of, course, I am talking about crochet :) (where do your bad mind take you??) I have serious problems staying monogamous and working on a same project … until it’s 100% done… I have to begin 2 or 3 projects together…

So, I began, the second leather stool (remember the REmaking of the first one)…leaving all the other stuff, yes ALL, a little bit behind :)

and I decided to work on the second leather stool with a very classic design: the granny square…yes, the very classical granny square that I just adore, working every round with a different color and making 4 rounds for every square…

OOOOOh how I love making granny squares, of course, I’ll show you, yalla (that is a Lebanese word :) )…

Do you like my new fushia basket-steal for crochet? me too :)

Have a marvelous week end !

and see you next time for my zigzagy blanket 100% done:) Hurray!!

3D Flower blanket: the pattern

Hello,

This is the pattern of my latest blanket that I’m still making:

I’ll put it in a graphic way and explain a little bit more with some pics…I hope it will be easy to understand:)

So, let’s try…

These are the first 5 rounds:

The square is made with 7 rounds + an 8th round made with sc (mailles serrees in french)).

For the 6 and 7 rounds, you have to continue like the 5 round with adding in each corner: 2dc, 2ch, 2dc (2brides, 2m. en l’air, 2brides in french).

The first 2 rounds are crocheted with one color. From 3 to round 7: Another color. Round 8: Red color

When you make the 3d round, you have to put it behind the flower:

Front:

Back:

(the second pic is the back of the square)

and continue with the 4th round:

Front:

Back:

I hope it’s not too complicated …

Please please please if you have any question feel free to ask, I’ll be more than happy to help you:)

Have a perfect day!

Sucrette.

3D Flower blanket

Good morning,

I am actually working on a new plain blanket with only seven colors and this is giving me great pleasure to crochet. I like to have a plain blanket for home and I decided to have one with a 3D Flower square. I’ll show you today the wip blanket. I actually made 38 squares untill now, still have32 (the blanket is made with 70 squares in total (7×10)!

This is the basic square:

As you noticed the flower is a 3D one:) it is very beautiful “live”.

I’ll post next time (maybe tomorrow:)) the pattern, so, if somebody want to crochet along with me this blanket it will be very nice to share our wip :)

So, for you, some pics:

I think it will become a very beautiful blanket…

but but but…

I have to finish this week my zigzagy blanket

(which I’ll show you 100% done very soon I hope) before working more on the 3D flower one,

and after that I have to make the second leather stool ;)

and after that I have to begin crocheting for Christmas :) yaaayyy

That is a lot of projects in my head:) yes I know :)

Have a beautiful week :)

and see you tomorrow for the pattern of the 3D Flower blanket!

BIG BIG kisses to you all!

Sucrette.
