Good morning,
How are you today? I’ve been missing you these days…life is running so fast that I have barely time to breathe…
I want to begin this post by thanking you all for your birthday wishes and your sweet words…It was a special birthday this year because of you all my blogland friends
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!
Talking about hearts, I’ve been doing some…
stuffed with lavender…
mmmmh…smelling sooo good that I want to make more and more and hang them everywhere around the house …
I want to show you also this cute handmade cushion I could not resist buying…
Isn’t it lovely with all those tiny buttons and small details ?
and this cute-brown-balls border?
and it has a beautiful sewed quote on it : Life is good, enjoy the little things ! (The title of this post) That is one I should remember always
I love having all kind of handmade cushions on my sofas … I have a problem with cushions…I keep making them and buying them
and the granny blanket you see on the right side of this pic is the one I am crocheting right now (will talk about it in another post
)
And finally before leaving you some hooky stuff made this week…
I finished the cover for the round stool to go with the orange cushion and the paintings…
The colors on these pics are a little strange I don’t know why…
But “live” they are warm and happy … I should take other pics when the light is better …
Time to go now… play a little with the girls before lunch time
Thank you for your visit today!
Have a great week end!

Hi Angie,
Love the hearts and your new cushion! Gorgeous!
Have a great weekend!
Gorgeous stool cover! I love the edging you’ve done, and the way it and the cushion blend with the colours in the pictures. I too have a bit of a cushion-making addiction so I know what you mean!

I love your cushion you bought, it’s so pretty I can appreciate why you could not resist buying it! Love those oranges in your stool and cushion covers….just stunning. Have a lovely weekend xox
I admire how all your handiwork really livens up your couch! I also am admiring your scalloped trim on your circular stool cushion cover. Could you tell me how each scalloped is stitched? I am looking for a nice scallop to put on the edge of a girly baby granny blanket; I thought this would be a nice touch.
Hi Angie! Busy busy busy here, too! Lovely post, I love all your colourful crochets!
Have a wonderful time!

Your new cushion reminds me of a simpler version of Gustav Klimt’s “Tree of Life”, one of my favourite paintings
but then so do your paintings…
I love them
