Hello again!
This is my second post for today
This post is all about crochet and my progress in the stripy baby blanket…
Yes I am doing something else than the giant granny
Here are some pics :

16 rows already! Growing up slowly but I’m enjoying it a lot
The yarn is soooo soft… a pure pleasure to crochet with… and the colors…mmmh sooo yummy…

I love stripes and that yarn is giving you great stitch definition!
All the giant grannies look great – I’m not going to join in though, I’m afraid, as I finished one earlier this year. X
Hi Angie! That is coming a beautiful blanket!
Your Giant granny challenge is so great and I’m happy that you have so many friends joining! Also the button is perfect!
Have a lovely time!

love your blankie!
Love the look of those stripes! What yarn are you using?
Sorry, I did find it on a previous post!
As always, I enjoy seeing your lovely work. Wow–you are non-stop!
It’s very pretty – all the colors are like a rainbow.
I love your striped baby blanket! I happen to be working on a similar project, but mine will be much bigger as it will be a bedspread for our bed. I love crocheting stripes and using lots of different colors, the more colors the better, as far as I’m concerned
If you like to take a look at it, you can see it here:

Hello crochet friends!
I’m a 15 year old from Canada and I’m quite new to the world of crochet. I have only been crocheting for a few months, but I have a cousin who is expecting a little baby girl in February and I would like to try to make her a baby blanket and I love this pattern! It seems simple enough for a beginner, but i was just wondering, how many stitches across and how many rows would you recomend for just a small baby blanket?
Thanks for your help!
Tamsin
P.S. I’m also trying to make a poncho for my 5 year old little cousin!
