Mosaic cushion !

Hello !

I’ve been busy yesterday finishing the Mosaic cushion and writing down the graphic of its pattern.

As so many of you asked for it, I did manage some time to draw it for you ! (I could not resist :) )

It is so simple, you will see, you can guess it by just looking at the pics :)

But before the graphic, lets have a look to the cushion :) (I adore it)

This pattern is perfect for a baby blanket or another Giant granny :) hehe

and the graphic made with Corel Draw:

A last pic before saying goodbye…

Thank you all again for being here :)

Have a lovely day!

P.S: To Julia: I crochet every day sometimes for only 10 minutes sometimes for a couple of hours! It depends ;)

New wip

Good morning!

Hope you’re having a fresh Monday start! Autumn is here and the fresh September breeze coming from my window in the morning is delightful :)

I’m sooo enjoying my morning today and I’m feeling very happy without any particular reason…I think I love September…September and May are my favorite months…I just love the temperate climate of these two months…not feeling hot and not feeling cold either…

Crochet side, I’ve begin a new cushion to go with my vintage one… A mosaic cushion…

I’m enjoying soo much the making of this cushion that I’m already thinking about a future blanket made with this pattern…

Maybe…one day… :)

Do you feel sometimes that you have so much projects in your head that you wish you’ve had 4 hands or days of 48 hours? that’s always happening to me :)

although  I crochet very fast… so fast sometimes that I feels that my hook exceeds the speed of my brain :D haha

That’s all for today my friend!

Enjoy the coming week and Enjoy September!

See you ;)

Good morniiiiiiiiing!

Do you remember my wip vintage blanket that I started not long time ago? Well, it turned into a vintage cushion for my formal living :)

It is made with a very thin acrylic yarn and I felt quite impossible to crochet a blanket with this kind of yarn (lazy lazy :) ) … So I transformed it…

Here is the result…

A big vintage cushion :) (60x60cm)

LOVE LOVE LOVE it :)

Love it even more  in my living next to the round granny one…

LOVE it sooo much that I decided to make another cushion just to go with these two…

I’ll show you something next time ;) Stay tuned!

Before I go I want to thank Grace Ann for the Versatile blogger award! This is very sweet from you Grace Ann! Thank you sooo much!

and thank you all for visiting :)

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning,

How are you today? I’ve been missing you these days…life is running so fast that I have barely time to breathe…

I want to begin this post by thanking you all for your birthday wishes and your sweet words…It was a special birthday this year because of you all my blogland friends :)

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Talking about hearts, I’ve been doing some…

stuffed with lavender…

mmmmh…smelling sooo good that I want to make more and more and hang them everywhere around the house …

I want to show you also this cute handmade cushion I could not resist buying…

Isn’t it lovely with all those tiny buttons and small details ?

and this cute-brown-balls border?

and it has a beautiful sewed quote on it : Life is good, enjoy the little things ! (The title of this post) That is one I should remember always ;)

I love having all kind of handmade cushions on my sofas … I have a problem with cushions…I keep making them and buying them :)

and the granny blanket you see on the right side of this pic is the one I am crocheting right now (will talk about it in another post ;) )

And finally before leaving you some hooky stuff made this week…

I finished the cover for the round stool to go with the orange cushion and the paintings…

The colors on these pics are a little strange I don’t know why…

But “live” they are warm and happy … I should take other pics when the light is better …

Time to go now… play a little with the girls before lunch time ;)

Thank you for your visit today!

Have a great week end!

Hello!

How are you today?

Aren’t these tulips gorgeous? I received them on my birthday on saturday :) and the tulips are my favourite flowers :)

On saturday I turned out 33 and it is strange how I felt… I did not feel too old or something, I just felt happy and thankful for being alive surrounded by my family and the people I love the most…

On Saturday morning I felt like calling my parents to tell them thank you…thank you for bringing me to life…thank you after 33 years :D hehe

I’m feeling too emotional these days, every little thing brings tears to my eyes…even the most idiot song …Stange no???

Enough emotional talking…let’s come back to reality and talk crochet…shall we? :)

I bought not so long time ago some paintings for my living…

and decided to make a cushion to go with them… a cushion crocheted using this pattern

and this was the result…

Tell me ? what do you think? Do you love?

and now I am making another crochet cover with the same colors as the cushion for this round small table you see on the right bottom of the pic above… ;) Will show it to you very soon …

That’s all my friend!

I’m sending you some sunshine and bird singing through this post and wish you a wonderful happy monday!

Good morning lovelies,

How are you today? We’ve got a beautiful Easter here and the girls are still on vacation for a week…They’ll be back to school on the 3d of May and I’ll be back to my normal not-a-full-time-mom life :)

This is an old wood stool I’ve had in my garage …

that I decided to bring back to “life” …with some crochet of course…

I used the Ricco creative cotton with a 4mm hook…Perfect for the flowers :)

And while I was working with the cotton yarn I decided to finish a cushion I started months ago…The cushion needed 2 more rounds…and a hand stitch  to a fabric one ;)

Love when I finish small projects…

It’s been a productive week!! (sigh of happiness :) )

Have a great monday!

THANK YOUUU!! thank you all for every word written :)

Yesterday I finished my daisies cushion….a very simple and cute rectangle cushion…

I felt so in love with it that I took it with me to the bed hehe :)

I crocheted this little cushion using the leftover yarns of my stylecraft special DK (yes I still have leftovers from my MONSTER :) )

I crocheted one side and hand sew it to an old fabric cushion … (yes I know I am a lazy woman ;) )

I have now to leave you….I’m going to make some paintings and I am very happy to hold again a brush and to mix colors and put them on a white background :)

Have a colorful day !

a new blanket (yes another blanket, I can not stop crocheting blankets :) ) This one I am making it as a gift for a dear friend of mine who’s in love with grannies :)

I’m using fresh colors and making the last round of every square with the off-white (very light beige) color…It is turning out beautiful … and I can feel that it will become a lovely blanket…

I am using this yarn for the “grannies love”…It is a 100% acrylic yarn…very soft with beautiful colors…

I’m in love with this Turkish brand :)

Good morning sweeties,

I finished doing the border of another blanket of mine … This blanket was made by my mom as a gift on our wedding in 2004 so it is a very loved blanket, mostly used by my husband because it is our biggest blanket so it can cover him entirely when he’s watching TV :) I’ll show it to you today with its new blue border …

Here it is in the living room surrounded by crochet, crochet everywhere :) I tried making the border by crocheting grannies with picots and it turned out very nice…

Here it is in all its glory with its new blue border :)

I also enjoy showing you the environment where this loved blanket lives…in the living room…my favorite place in the house :)

I just love this big room where all the family members love to snuggle under blankets and enjoy little pleasures life is offering :) It just make me smile looking at the pics…

Wanna see what’s on the shelves?…Let’s have a peek shall we? ;)

and some close ups…

As you maybe already noticed I love small objects and cats in particular…I have a collection of them and you can see cats everywhere in the house :)

and I love this photo frame a gift from my sister :) Remembering warms the heart :)

Two more pics of the blanket before leaving you my dear…

I enjoyed soooo much sharing with you these pics, hope you enjoyed them too…

Now I am working on two new wip ;) I’ll leave them as a suprise for you for next time…

Have a beautiful day,

Sucrette
