Hello!
How are you today?
Aren’t these tulips gorgeous? I received them on my birthday on saturday
and the tulips are my favourite flowers
On saturday I turned out 33 and it is strange how I felt… I did not feel too old or something, I just felt happy and thankful for being alive surrounded by my family and the people I love the most…
On Saturday morning I felt like calling my parents to tell them thank you…thank you for bringing me to life…thank you after 33 years
hehe
I’m feeling too emotional these days, every little thing brings tears to my eyes…even the most idiot song …Stange no???
Enough emotional talking…let’s come back to reality and talk crochet…shall we?
I bought not so long time ago some paintings for my living…
and decided to make a cushion to go with them… a cushion crocheted using this pattern

Tell me ? what do you think? Do you love?
and now I am making another crochet cover with the same colors as the cushion for this round small table you see on the right bottom of the pic above…
Will show it to you very soon …
I’m sending you some sunshine and bird singing through this post and wish you a wonderful happy monday!

Good morning lovelies,
How are you today? We’ve got a beautiful Easter here and the girls are still on vacation for a week…They’ll be back to school on the 3d of May and I’ll be back to my normal not-a-full-time-mom life
This is an old wood stool I’ve had in my garage …
that I decided to bring back to “life” …
with some crochet of course…
I used the Ricco creative cotton with a 4mm hook…
Perfect for the flowers
And while I was working with the cotton yarn I decided to finish a cushion I started months ago…The cushion needed 2 more rounds…and a hand stitch to a fabric one
Love when I finish small projects…
It’s been a productive week!! (sigh of happiness
)
Have a great monday!

* My “azalee” looking great
*Sweet and cute small hand-painted boxes brought from our honeymoon and that I thought they were lost in the “move” … It feels so great finding them again (Yes, I still have unpacked boxes but shuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
)
*Two lovely roosters bought recently for Easter decoration :)
*A bunch of yellow flowers on my table so bright and cheerful
And you? What are the things that are making you feel happy today? Hope there is a lot
Happy Easter !

Hello ladies,
Hope you’re having a wonderful monday morning with a nice cup of coffee!
One week ago I saw this beautiful pic somewhere on the net… a beautiful pic without a link or a source…and I fall….madly deeply in love with it….I saved it on my laptop …Here it is…
Does any of you know the source of this pic?
So, my friend, I fall madly and deeply and crazy in love with the blanket of course…I could not take out my eyes of this beauty…all these colors and this black border…can you resist?
and of course, as you already guessed…I started…I started trying to crochet something similar to this wonderful piece…Mmmmh…it was a pleasure trying to figure out the pattern by just looking at this pic….and I made it after many many trials
yes yes yes…
I stopped all my wip and I am not crocheting anything else since …
That’s what we call: Love at first sight…Yes it is crochet-love-at-first-sight…wondering if you can understand this kind of feeling for a project ? when you can not at all concentrate on something else…and you leave all behind for this particular new wip…
I even already draw the graphic pattern for you… my own version on Corel draw with a sucrette’s technique to work fast and use all the colors equitably (Thank you google translate
) (I’ll post it next time
)
But I need a name for this blanket and I need your suggestions… Do you have any idea what should I name it? Is “love at first sight” a good one? waiting for your advice…

Finally, a close up of the flowers on my table…and some pics of my paintings and my studio before I go…
Talking about my paintings: It is not something “huge” I am very proud of…but it is something I take pleasure making … and that’s what counts finally, no?
I’ll leave you now with a last pic of these adorable small watering cans on my shelves…
Have a beautiful monday!

Good morning sweeties,
How are you today? Here the sun is shining, birds singing and I am in a very happy mood
I finished yesterday my scarf and I must admit it is a very easy process making and the result is wonderful…
Let’s have a peek, shall we?

The scarf , as you see here, is long enough to wrap it two times around my neck… It makes a 208cm long and 23cm large…I think it is the perfect dimensions for a neck warmer

I crocheted it using the leftovers of my Stylecraft special DK yarns I bought online from here…
… with a 3mm crochet hook.

Now, I have to concentrate on my fairy tale blanket (the one and only project in my hands for the moment
) and try to finish it before beginning anything else (that’s what I always say and never do
)
Our “move” (to a new home) is in one week (on the 28th)…the count down has begin…I am feeling so excited and a little stressed about the coming weeks…cross your fingers that everything will go well…
And now I must leave you and go back to my fairy tale which I’ll show you the progress done so far next time
Until then, I wish you a wonderful weekend wherever you are around the globe…
Kisses,
Sucrette

It is very easy, you’ll see, but very addictive (take care:))
Hope you enjoy crocheting this cute flower! I’ll love to see what you will make with this pattern so post pics if you can;)
Perfect week end to you all!

Hello,
This week I’ve been busy making some progress on my hexagon blanket…
I think it will become a lovely throw for the couch…don’t you?
I love the colors…
I think that even the same colors and the same yarns gives a totally different look depending on the pattern you are using …
I’ve been also playing with my cotton yarn…
…creating a new flower pattern easy to make, very simple but totally addictive
Dont ask me what will become this…I dont know yet
:)hehe
but having fun without any planification is really therapeutic from time to time:)
That’s all for today!
Now i’m gonna go back to my MONSTER Granny which I will show you once finished! yes yes yes! I HAVE to finish it before beginning any other thing…
So, my friend, I’ll leave you now and send you lots lots of lovely thoughts through the net
Kisses to all,
Sucrette
