Two new wip…yes, two :)

Hello lovelies,

I should now be finishing my fairy tale blanket, but I could not resist beginning two projects…

I promise to you that I’ll have a “tadaa” fairy tale post very soon, very very soon but I have to show you what’s on my creative table right now

A rectangle cushion for my living room…crocheted with the leftover Stylecraft special DK yarns…and it turning out lovely…

and…

a new blanket (yes another blanket, I can not stop crocheting blankets ) This one I am making it as a gift for a dear friend of mine who’s in love with grannies

I’m using fresh colors and making the last round of every square with the off-white (very light beige) color…It is turning out beautiful … and I can feel that it will become a lovely blanket…

I am using this yarn for the “grannies love”…It is a 100% acrylic yarn…very soft with beautiful colors…

I’m in love with this Turkish brand

My creative space (8)

Hello,

This week I’ve been doing this for a special order:

We call them “sous plats” in french but I can not find the right word in English…It is something you put under a hot dish (please tell me what it is in English I am very curious to learn )

I love them Do you?

The back side is made with wicker (is it a right word?, I took it from the translator:S:S)

And, and, and…I bought some new yarn from a local shop….(naughty girl!!)

I just want to show you and you will understand why…

mmmmmmmmmmh, do you see the colors?

I am a crazy yarnoholic (is it a word??) :D I can not resist when I see new yarn with such beautiful, wonderful colors…I have sinned again…shame on me:)

It is a 100% acrylic yarn, a little bit thicker than the stylecraft special dk (4.5mm crochet hook) but very soft, machine washable and with such yummy colors I bet no one can resist

and now the problem is: where will I put all this????? mmmmh, I guess under the bed :) and from time to time, in the night, I’ll go down and check again and again if they are still there…

My creative space (7)

Good morning to you,

My creative space for this week is two new wip projects , yes, yes, yes, I began two projects and I left for awhile my MONSTER, making two new projects with the leftover yarns of the MONSTER (even if it is not DONE yet, I know that I’ll have a lot of leftovers so I have to make something(s) with them :)

So, my friend, with no more blablabla, I’ll show you: The first project :

I know, I know, You are asking yourself right now “what is she making this crazy woman??” hehe

I am making a big-empty-cylinder-crocheted-thing which will become, when done, a very cute “thing”…to surprise you… Sorry, but I’ll not tell now… It is a SURPRISE! I hope that it will turn beautifully-cute so I’ll share with you the pattern…

The second project, is an hexagonal small throw for my couch :

Thanks to the lovely Michelle who, in my “the 7 blankets of my home” post suggested to me the idea of making an hexagonal blanket … I am making now one, Michelle, but it will not be a BIG one, just a decorative one to give a little “life” to the couch

I’m using the pattern of the wonderful “Lucy” but without making the chain-loop round ( round4) and I’m crocheting with the leftovers of my unfinished MONSTER :)

My creative space (4)

My creative space for this week is a granny round cushion…

I finished already the pink garden cushion (I’ll show it to you tomorrow) and it’s looking great…

So, I’m making now this…

…to become a round cuhion…

Hope everything is going well for you! For me, no time for real-crochet-joy but I’m trying my best to do some, at night, after they sleep…

My creative space (3)

My creative space today is a cushion I’m making with the left over yarns from my two previous blankets (Country flowers and Zygzagy)

I love making cushions and I love living in a home full of colorful cushions, cushions everywhere… on the floor…on the beds…on the sofas…in the kitchen…in the garden etc…This is my dreams house

So, now I am making a green garden cushion (you can find the pattern here)…I have in mind to make a green, a white and a pink one…

My creative space:)

Good morning dear reader,

Yesterday I read something very cute on the net about having difficulties being monogamous and that made me smile because I was in the same situation…Yes, I have difficulties, myself, being monogamous and that is annoying me a little bit…

Of, course, I am talking about crochet (where do your bad mind take you??) I have serious problems staying monogamous and working on a same project … until it’s 100% done… I have to begin 2 or 3 projects together…

So, I began, the second leather stool (remember the REmaking of the first one)…leaving all the other stuff, yes ALL, a little bit behind

and I decided to work on the second leather stool with a very classic design: the granny square…yes, the very classical granny square that I just adore, working every round with a different color and making 4 rounds for every square…

OOOOOh how I love making granny squares, of course, I’ll show you, yalla (that is a Lebanese word )…

Do you like my new fushia basket-steal for crochet? me too
