Sew much love

Hello ❤ I will be listing today 4 new project bags in the shop. I am trying to add each week some bags that I am sewing with love during the week. Learning this new skill has changed my life. I am totally addicted and it makes me sooo happy sitting behing my machine and creating with colorful pieces of fabric. I bought my Juki one year ago. It’s been exactly one year!! and since that day I used it almost every day. I made a lot of quilts. Most of them live happily in loving homes around this globe and that makes me really proud. And lately I discovered the joy of making bags. And the bags are also flying around this planet to new homes and that makes ny heart happy ❤ and thankful ❤ I made myself a promise to learn each week a new pattern and try it. It’s been a blessing. Thank you so much for reading me here. I will try to be more present in this little corner of mine. Much love. Angie

Hello my lovelies!

Hope you’re having a fun week end wherever you are!

Yesterday, like you already guessed from the title of this post I did some shopping! No, no not any normal kind of shopping…MY kind of shopping and I’m soo thrilled to show you what I found with a very very good price!

A bird cage:

I felt sooo in love with this cage and on my way back home I was already planning what to put inside 🙂 yeah yeahhhh!

A parrot? love birds? NO!!!NOOOO! (I sooo hate animals in cages! specially birds ! Aren’t they meant to be free? When I was a kid I once opened the door of the cage to a lovely parrot when we were visiting some of my parent’s friends! I’ll let you imagine what happened next 😉 hehe)

So? did you guessed what I put inside?

Hearts!

I sew them quickly this morning with some fabric scraps! They are not perfect but they are small, colorful and so cute:)

Look at the result: hearts hanged in a bird cage 🙂

The result is much better “live” then on these pics but I can not resist sharing with you 😉

I Love how it looks in its new home surrounded by some crochet goodies!

And did you see the geese? Yes I bought these too:)

Aren’t they adorable and sooo vintage? I keep smiling every time I enter the living room and look at them!

It is sooo good to live surrounded by people and things you love! and I just love every single object of my happy home! I am so blessed!

Sending you lots and lots of happy and colorful thoughts 🙂

See you next time with some new crochet projects 😉

Here the sun is going down and we have a beautiful sunset…

Have a marvelous evening too!

Good morning !

I received a while ago an award from a very sweet lady…

Thank you so much Kerry!

Kerry have a wonderful blog…you can visit it here!

So, for the award I have to tell some things about myself…

Yalla…

1-I really really love colors…colors everywhere and specially in homes but it seems like most of the homes I visit are “beige” or “white” and this really annoys me!!

2- My favorite color is: red or purple or orange or yellow or even turquoise …in fact I have plenty of favorite colors 😉 and every week I seem to have a new favorite color 🙂

3- I love big families…for me the perfect picture of happiness is a big family with 4 or 5 kids dining around a big table laughing and eating with a fire in a cosy fireplace …

4- I’m afraid to death of death 🙂 In fact this is a real obsession for me…I keep thinking about the day I’ll be dead or somebody I cherish will be gone and I cry and I cry … I don’t know how to face this fact and I keep reading books about it…but no result 😦

5- I love simple pleasures of life: sometimes, just sitting in the garden watching the girls playing makes my heart happy happy happy 🙂

6- I hate to shop clothes…for myself…yes yes yes…I wish I can stay in my jeans and a very large t-shirt for the rest of my life and nobody tells me I have to be “pretty” for the others GRRRRRRR!

7- I live in a country (Lebanon) where everything is fake…specially the women…plastic surgery is the latest fashion…All the women have the same fake nose, the same fake cheeks and the same stretched skin around the eyes…in fact they all looks the same…its dramatic !

8- I hate going to hairdressers…fixing the color and cutting my hair is my nightmare! and this is what I’m making today!!!

9- I love eating a lot, specially sweets and chocolate…and I am constantly beginning diets…just beginning … 😀

10- Sometimes I wish to live alone in an island with my children, my husband and my family and of course my crochet and the internet  and you 😉 …

that’s it my lovelies!

Now I have to pass this on (and this is the hardest part as there is a thousand of lovely blogs I visit and all the blogs are wonderful! really!)

So, voila, I pass this award to:

1- Saritha from http://hooksneedlesandme.blogspot.com/

2- Debi from http://hooksandyarns.blogspot.com/

3- Severine from http://severine56.canalblog.com/

4- Jane from http://hook-and-yarn.blogspot.com/

5- Karen from http://4lilgirls.blogspot.com/

6- Mamzelle Flo from http://fantaisiesdeflo.canalblog.com/

7- Karen from http://www.barefeetandafreespirit.blogspot.com/

8- Linda from http://www.theknitoriousmrsb.blogspot.com/

and Esther from http://happyinred.blogspot.com/

Go have a visit! It is really worth it!

and finally before I go, I have to show you two pics:

It still needs some ironing and framing…but I’m happy with it 🙂

and…

My “daisies-in-a-square-baby-blanket” wip…

All the squares are done…Still have the joining round and the border…So a “tadaaa” post is coming very soon 😉

Enjoy your week end!

Houses

Good morning !

This week end I enjoyed sewing small houses …

I saw this so cute pic of the cover of this book I ordered from amazon (but I did not received the book yet) and I could not resist making one of these cute houses…

I enjoyed so much the whole process that I made another one too…

They are so simple to make and I really love this childish style 🙂

And as I am still waiting for the book, I began trying something similar to the cute framed pic too 🙂

Hope it turns out good so I can show it to you 🙂

Have a beautiful day!
